Maastricht Academy of Media Design and Technology

The mission of MAMDT is to train students to become self-aware designers who are able to give meaning to a world that is constantly changing and to translate it into meaningful designs by reflecting on the role of design and the designer.

For this exhibition, students opted for social themes in which the connection with the outside world was sought. The themes have been chosen with care, connecting local and regional with global developments. In this way they each want to contribute in shaping the (new) world in their own way and with their own values and ideals and they show what old and new technologies mean, change and enable insight making developments transparent and understandable in an aesthetic and ethical way.
