Film academy, film cameraman NPS, program maker of, among others, Klokhuis.
Main photographic theme: TIME, which removes original functions and replaces something else. Another reality arises, for example the beauty of transience. Examples: series such as "Fading memories", "The decline of farmers life", "Reincarnated mummies", "Lost valley".
‘A la recherche du temps perdu.’, 2012
The life work of the French writer Marcel Proust. (1891-1922). The many translations were done by Thérèse Cornips (1926-2016), born in Maastricht. For this she received the Martinus Nijhoff prize. In the summer she lived near Charneux in the Ardennes in a world in which nature, transience and memory played a major role. A world that reminded Paulussen of the time in which Proust lived. It is this world that inspired him to translate this series photographically.
